Hi guys I could really use some help cause my pc has gone full retard :( . I built ths rig around a year ago, and when I first built it I had a problem where I would get a bsod on start up everytime it booted into windows. When I restarted after the bsod everything would br fine, I could run prime 95 and game with no problems. I tried updatiing the bios and using differnt ram to no avail. Then around 3 months later the probem just went away and was fine for about 7 months. So recently I put this rig in a different pc case and upgraded the graphics card to a 7970 and everthing was fine for around 3 weeks and now all of a sudden the problem is back. Not sure where to start trouble shooting it?

Here are the specs.

intel 3570k( not overclocked )

HD 7970

asus p8z77-v

Crucial m4 128gb ssd

1tb WD storage drive

seasonic 750w psu

asus xonar dx sound card

8gb corsair vengeance ram

Thanks

Is it possible to post the BSOD error so I can know what kind of error it is producing? Use bluescreenview and post a screenshot of the error.

I agree got to start somewhere..try these programs. They should give you an idea of what is happening.

Ahh someone has already mentioned BlueScreenView, have you also tried reinstalling the OS?

The blue screens I was getting was ntoskrnl.exe anyway I'd download CrystalDiskInfo or HD Tune and see what it says about your hard drive, my guess (if worth anything) would be that your hard drive isn't too great but that is just a guess but that is the same BSOD cause I had with my Scorpio Blue before it failed altogether.

Here are the links if you're interested, if not then disregard them :P

I've run pretty much out of memory and never had a blue screen because of it

I tried cystal disk info and it states that hard drive health is good, and I don't think its a memory thing cause it happens before I get a chance to open anything, unless the ram is faulty?

I'd recommend downloading this and let it run for a couple of passes :-

If there are no errors on your memory then I'd say try reinstalling it, might be worth a shot otherwise I'm not really sure what to recommend.

Ok, I might let it run for a few hours to be sure. I will post back later.

Can't switch processors on a kernel triage dump

Do you happen to have a kernel dump of this one as well?

Check your HDD / SSD, if you don't get any errors but do get BSOD's post the new dump and we'll go from there.

I have checked the drives with no errors. Sorry I am not sure which file you want me to upload?
