Asus PG278Q ROG Swift vs. LG 34UM95

So I am in the market for a monitor and both of these got high praise from linus, could anyone help me make a decision and if you could list your reasons for picking one monitor or the other.

Neither?

The UM95 is overpriced to hell, and the ROG Swift is dependent on GPU, if you have an NVIDIA 600/700 series GPU capable of well-driving 1440p, do it. If not, don't bother and get a nice IPS 1440p panel.

It depends on what you want to do with it really.

If you want the best fps experience at 1440p the ROG Swift is the way to go. Make sure you have a good Nvidia GPU to push that monitor and benefit from G-sync.

If you want a big 1440P IPS monitor for superior color reproduction, productivity work and a nice gaming experience, you're better off going with the LG.
