So I want to change my current laptop RAM for a better set. But im not quite sure on the ratings etc.

I opened a program which someone recommended to me called speccy and took a look at the RAM.

It says:

Slot #1

Type DDR3
Size 4096 MBytes
Manufacturer Hyundai Electronics
Max Bandwidth PC3-12800 (800 MHz)
Part Number HMT351S6CFR8C-PB

I'm not quite sure which memory speed I should be buying. Could someone please tell me.

Sorry for being a complete novice in this.

Thanks in advance.

That's 1600MHz DDR3. Pretty standard stuff but not terrible. I'd leave it in and just get another 4GB stick if you want more.

Thanks very much. Do you have any suggestions on which to buy?

Any old SODIMM rated at 1600/C9 will do the trick, I'd suggest 2x4GB so add another 4GB- odds are it will work in dual channel :)

You probably need SO-DIMM (204-pin) 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM . You can use the Crucial upgrades adviser to find the RAM specs you need for your laptop.

I ordered these two weeks ago for mine: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LDLVAO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

P.S When looking up my processor it says, http://ark.intel.com/products/53442/Intel-Core-i3-2370M-Processor-3M-Cache-2_40-GHz That it only supports  DDR3-1066/1333

Will my processor only be able to handle that or will it automatically tune it down?

Laptops are funny, odds are it runs 1600mhz. If you check CPU-Z and look at the RAM tab and see what speed it runs at (it's usually divided by 2 as it's Double Data Rate)
