So im planning on building my own rig and i was wondering if this looks like a solid build for gaming and streaming / rendering once in a while.

CPU: Intel i5 4690k
CPU COOLER: Cooler master hyper 412s
GPU: EVGA GTX 780Ti SC 3gb
RAM: G.Skill 2x4gb PC12800 DDR3 CL9, Ripjawsx
MOBO: Asus Maximus VII RANGER iZ97
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb
HD: Western digital 1tb blue 7200rmp
PSU: Corsair CX750M
CASE: Corsair Carbide 500r

What do you think? Pretty solid or Nah?

Also if u see room for improvements without spending more money im happy to know!

im planning on adding a 2nd 2x4gb in the near future and within a year or so adding a 2nd 780Ti

Swap the PSU for EVGA 850W G2 (superflower OEM), much better unit and will run more comfortably (cooler/more efficient) in the SLI scenario.

10yr EVGA warranty is a big bonus.

If you need to tug some cash out of something then swap the board out for the MSI Z97-G55 SLI, which is currently the no1 price/feature board on Z97.

I think it's very solid. EVGA power supplies are surprisingly cheap with good quality, so just like Askew said, that PSU is good.

Also, I hope no one here tells OP to get an i7, streaming and rendering occasionally is fine with an i5.  ;)

I would change the cooler for the Dark Rock 3 or the Noctua NH-U14S they perform much better and have better build quality

Planned I Hope Someday I Do First Build: CPU: Intel Core i7 5820k CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO Mobo: MSI X99S SLI PLUS RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4-2133Mhz Storage: Corsair Force LS 240GB SSD & 2TB WD Green Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 970 4GB Turbo Case: NZXT S340 White PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit OEM Monitor: AOC i2267Fw 60Hz 22" Monitor

EVGA 850W g2 is about 30 euro more in my country so it really worth it and by swapping the boards i do get a 30+- cheaper only to be honest im already a little bit over my budget ( not by much) so i could actually dim it a little bit

Yes it's worth it, a worthy compromise IMHO.

Moving from a ROG board to a board that does all the same stuff as far as gaming is concerned, and at the same time upgrading an average PSU to a high quality one is a winning situation.

im also retarded and cant count and i saved 40 euro and the upgrade from the 750 to 850 is 20 euro :P

i also looked it up via http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

and ill need about 688W once i added the 2nd 780 ti and 750 is to close to that indeed.

also saved 5 euro from going from 412s to 212. everything counts! :D

I hope it performs much better and better build quality since its 2x the price of the hyper 412s

where are you buying from?
