machinima Question

Just curiousity

What exactly is going on with the machinima network, i mean quite a few channels are leaving or trying to. Are the rumours that they undercut pay and stuff true? Im just curious as to what is going on cause the idea of the machinima network is pretty awesome but i've seen quite a few posts on youtube and news etc. that its all corrupt or something. I'm asking cause i just saw the bro team pill video using a weird Vin Diesel thing demanding machinima unlink the channel (lol). But yeah does anyone have any details or know anything?

About a year ago machinima made all of their directors take a paycut, and basically fucked them over.

It's basically been failing for a while now and people are just waiting for the implosion (Bankrupcy)

but I havent heard anything about them having a shortage of income coming in? and they still act as a pretty good gateway for small channels to get bigger...

Machinima does the opposite. They take you nice videos, jam them into their subchannels (Respawn, etc.) with a ton of other videos. You will get little views because there will be a lot of videos in a short amount of time.

Google gave them some money (can't remember why) a while ago, so they will function for a couple more years.

Some youtubers also said that Machinima changed something in their contract not long ago and now they've basically automatically opted in all their "directors" to have more ads on their videos, with an even lower percentage. On a 30 minute video you can have up to 10 ads, and the only way to get around them, is to go through every single videos and disable that option, because the global one doesn't work or something.
