Um... help? (RAM Voltage problems)

So I was idly looking at the PCPartPicker list for my first build (soon!), and I saw this:

Is this a real problem? Should I perhaps choose a 1600MHz kit, or just run this one at 1.65V?

It will downclock to try and stay within Haswell spec.

I know, but then there's no point spending more on a 2133MHz kit.

Run it at 1.65 V (if you want to get 2133 MHz)... but if your mb supports XMP it'd do it automatically

I'll be using an MSI Z97 Gaming 5, which does support XMP. So it's nothing to worry about then?

 

My RAM can run at 1.65v fine on Haswell.

 

It might stress the IMC and impact overclocking though.

Eh, I won't be OCing much (I assume you mean CPU OCing) - I won't be using a custom WC loop for a long time
