is samsung galaxy s3 still good phone?

 

 

i heard that s4 is a lot like s3. What should i get

 s3 for 120 $ or 

 s4 for 250 $???

I got a moto g for 100 a month ago. Compared to my girlfriends s3 I can't find a single thing I like more on the s3 than my moto g. Also my moto g definitely seems more responsive. S3's have always seemed just a tad bugged. Like they often have a brain fart and forget what they are doing for about 3 seconds.

The S3 is still a perfectly good phone. However, since it is so common, you will find it hard to sell it for much.

I actually just got the S3 mini, which is spec wise a little bit lower tier than the regular s3, and I actually love the phone. I don't need anything fancy, but the battery lasts about 2 days for me and it works fast.

 

So you should definitely be fine with an S3.

I am running my S3 with CyanogenMod, still works great. Also, $120 seems like a good deal.

120$ for an S3, no matter if new or used, is a damn good deal. It's still a good phone. Yes, there's better phones like Moto G, but still, for that price it's great. I'm still using an S2 (bought second-handed few weeks ago) because it was cheap, but it's still good enough.

Thumbs up for Cyanogen! I used that on my previous HTC Desire S and it was crazy fast compared to stock Android....

My wife is using hers with tha setup, i offered her my old Moto X, she didn't want it.

Unless you can get rid of the Horrible Touchwiz by getting CM or something don't buy either and buy a Moto G $179 new or find a good deal for one for like $100

I'll go with the S4. It's worth the extra performance and screen size. 

What I recommend is a S5 and a Note 3. 

(Note 4's coming out in September)

S3 is about the same size. If you don't like the size, look for Moto G or something else instead.

Well... Aside from size differences / different dimensions, the difference between S3 and S4 are rather small. However there are some neat things in S4 that S3 doesn't have, like for example IR blaster. Plus S3's build quality is tad worse. Other than that, if you're choosing between either, pick your poison.
