Does anyone have this or used this kit? I'm just curious about custom loops and was always fond of the aesthetics of EK. is it worth the price? or is another company better off. i also like the swiftech h220 even tho it isnt a custom loop.

IMO no. EK's X series kits are way better. XSPC and Alphacool have good kits too.

Depends. Personally I think if you're prepared to spend the kind of money needed for a good custom kit or full loop.

Do it properly, without compromise. Cool GPU + CPU and get some good rads.

For just a CPU, if you're set on some sort of watercooling, AIO's aren't as bad as people make them out to be.

A good 280mm AIO like the Kraken X61 is fine. It has a variable speed pump (less pump noise) and you can always put some NF-A14's or PK2's on it if you're unhappy with the stock fan noise. The H220-X looks promising too.

Yep. It has a fill-port that you can use to drain and/or refill the reservoir.

Mayhems X1. Just do a quick search to make sure there aren't any compatibility issues with the tubing on the H220-X, shouldn't be a problem though.

The tubing is 5/8 by 3/8 and the fluid pre-installed is non toxic propylene glycol coolant mix

You shouldn't have a problem with it. The H220-X uses good PVC tubing and X1 doesn't even contain glycol. It's main base is vegetable extract.
