Windows 8 clean install partitions

So I'm doing a clean install of windows 8 on my laptop using a chinese version
when I delete all my partitions and create new, why does it only create 2 partitions? (system and main)
in the past when I installed using an english version, it creates 4 partitions (system, recovery, MSR reserved, main)
is my chinese iso not complete? or is there some glitch? what's going on?
I'd very much like to have that recovery partition so i don't need to find my recovery DVD's next time i want to do a reset/refresh

Edit: another thing i noticed is my boot logo, using the chinese version, i see the windows square flags, on the other hand, the english version give me a nice HP logo instead

Mine only made 2 partitions

I never used recovery partitions anyway, always just a USB stick

hum, seems like more effort than it's worth... how about the boot logo, you know anything about that?

I don't know anything about that.

Although I only see my boot logo for 2 or 3 seconds so i wouldn't really notice anyway :lol:

eh, in the end i spoofed my location and redownloaded the iso from microsoft with my product key
I think the two of them was different versions, my chinese iso was provided by my school, mass install image or smthing
whereas the english iso was obtained from microsoft directly as a retail image
