I have the Sony V6 and I say get the better pads right now, they are as million times better than the stock pads

CPU: AMD 3950x Mobo: MSI B550 RAM: 32GB DDR4 GPU: Asus 3080 Strix PSU: Superflower Leadex 3 720w Case: BeQuiet 500DX

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

The v6's are good with the beyer pads. Along with philips uptowns, CAL!, brainwavez HM5, etc, it is one of the better low end headphones.

 

I personally would either recommend you buy the v6's or one I listed and then decide if you want to upgrade later...

 

OR, you can go straight to something like the DT990 Pro which is a bit more expensive but personally I found the upgrade worth it.
