2.is there a high risk i will get a doa product?

3.on the parts for the computer...are the warranty's void once i start the build? iv heard this is true?

4.does anyone have any bad experiences with newegg? if so please share

1.If they are in septate shipping sections in the cart, then they will ship separately.

2. Doa is more manufacturers packing, factory issues, and carrier handling. Not Newegg.

3. No, as long as you don't void the warranty terms that are in the box, no. (Not Newegg)

4. Nope, newegg has been good to me.

The warranty is never void when you start it... then what would be the point of a warranty?

There will be very few if any bad experiences on here, their CS ranks up near the top of the charts with Amazon.

No, the risk of DOA is pretty low

They will usually try their best to group it into as few boxes as possible. You might get one giant box with everything or a few medium-large boxes.

1. Some will ship in a group, some will ship in another group. There may be many depending on where the warehouses they're sent from are

2. No. The risk is just as much as buying it off the shelf

3. No. Warranty is void if you do something stupid with the parts or take them apart

4. Nope :)

1. Everything in the same section will ship together except for the case (from my experience)

2. no, the risk is the same as any PC component store

3. no

3. not for me.

1. Parts will only come together only if they are all in the same block in the cart. The divide is pretty noticeable, like a solid black line.

2. I have never received a DOA product, even if you did that is not necessary a Newegg problem.

3. Parts will remain their warranty as long as they are free of physical damage or ESD. For example if you bend a Pin on the socket, your SOL.

4. I have had nothing but good things to say about Newegg. I have dealt with their customer service multiple times and they always have done everything to make it right.

Then no. Most GPUs have a three year warranty so there is no point

how would it have a 3 year when newegg sais it has 30 day?

Probably a 30 day return policy. What 780 are you looking at?

Yea that's talking about a return period, EVGA backs their cards by a 3 year warranty. They also have some of the best customer service

EVGA allows you to register online, you can even upload your receipt online to streamline the process if anything happens in the future.

You have the option to buy what they call an EAR program in the first 30 days so you can do free cross shipment in the future for warranty or you can just do standard. This is assuming you are in the states.

I do all of my shopping on newegg.

1. Most of the time if they can ship it all together yes. But it will go at the speed of the slowest shipping item.

2. I've never gotten DoA

3. no, the warranty starts on the date of purchase.

4. I love newegg, I don't really shop elsewhere.

To make things fluid or go smoother.

If anything goes wrong just email EVGA and they'll take care of you. Even if you're out of warranty or broke your card by doing something stupid like messing with cooler or overclocking too high, they don't care, they still replace your card. That's why they're the best. They replaced my 6 year old 8500GT that I broke by trying to reapply thermal paste. I just tried emailing them and they still were perfectly happy to replace it. They didn't have another 8500GT to send me but they sent me an even better GT520 instead
