A program to "acidize" wav files

So I don't know if any of you could help me with this but I'm looking to write a program that will ad acidized tempo metadata to all wav files in a given directory in a batch processing style thing.

Does anybody know how to go about doing that?

That appears to just ad ID3 tags but it's not very clear

It's a sony thing that means you can add slice markers and tempo information to wav files for use as loops that you can then easily manipulate. I don't care about the slice markers though, just the tempo information.
