DIY Nvidia Tegera K1 Sheild Laptop's/Mini PC's

AdsStan

So by now more or less everyone knows about the Nvidia shield tablet. so i was just on the nvidia site and came across this http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/jetson-tk1-embedded-dev-kit-uk.html and i thought of DIY Laptop's and Mini PC's. Then i was like this has the same processor as the shield tablet. Anyone think nvidia will develop a shield Mini PC or Laptop. If they do it will be pretty neat of you ask me.

The thing is, it's almost as expensive as an actual Shield tablet, it definitely will end up being more expensive by the time you get all the other stuff you need for it to actually be something you can use. It just doesn't make much sense, I would much rather get the tablet and hook up some peripherals if need be.

He was asking if a maker would make it and the answer is very likely yes, Ben Heck likely would.

Ah that is more important

yeah i have built plenty of PC's for family and friends so I know what I am doing once I have my first self built personal rig i can buy other things and save up for extras like an SSD, nice keyboard, second monitor, better PSU and breaded cables, second Graphics card and maybe a capture card. you know to upgrade a build and extras.

EDIT: also can you head here and cast your vote.
