Is this a solid build? Would you change anything?

Get the Sapphire 290 and 4 x 2 GB's of ram.

Well first of all yeah, get 8 gigs of RAM. Second potential issue I see here is that the Node 304 isn't very good with modular PSUs. I'm not sure about the XFX one, but the modular connectors on the back tend to stick out quite a bit and will probably end up conflicting with your GPU. The only modular PSU I'm absolutely positive works with the Node 304, is the SIlverstone strider series, those are only 140-150mm long.

 

EDIT: actually, I just checked, the 550W XTR series is 160mm long, plus modular connectors. That is definitely not going to fit in with your GPU.

Drop the H80i for a Dark Rock Pro 3 or something from Noctua, use the money you save to get another 4 GB stick of RAM. You should also get the Tri-X R9 290 if you're fine with breaking the colour scheme.
