Hello

I'm looking to buy sennheiser momentum. You can buy on ear or over ear, however there is a $120 gap.(on ear being the cheaper one)

I would like to know why there is such a large price gap. Is the sound quality better, is the comfort better and is it really worth the extra 120?

Thank you

IIRC the sound of those two are actually a bit different. Part of that could be the seal the earpads make (keyword is "could"). I'm an over the ear fan so... Never really liked on-ear.

Here's a link from a really quick Google search (Headfi, so take it as a point of investigation, not word of law to directly accept as fact):

Although for $120 more, if you're fine with on-ear, I mean, I'd say just take it. $120 change for a headphone that's <500 is a big price difference relative to the price of the headphones.
