Should I do this?

Currently I have a Sennheiser PC363D headset and I no longer use the microphone so I was thinking of selling them and buying a pair of headphones I was looking at the ATH-M50x in particular, I was told not to do this as there would not be a noticeable difference... so what is the verdict? I mean I love the headset and the sound is really good but I have no need for a "headset" anymore should I keep them and not use the microphone or sell them?

Ath - m50s are similar and both great compared to my suggestion . Jus the sennheisers are open and the ath are closed.

There are more differences, but theyr both awesome.

Just keep it, no point in going through the hassle of buying and selling, for no reason.

Unless you have a desire to try something new I wouldn't bother.
