BenQ BL3200PT

Go to solution Solved by dizmo,

VA panels are decent. They're better than TN unless you're comparing them to say a higher hz panel. Then they have ghosting similar to most IPS displays.

It's a great monitor if you watch a lot of movies, or if it's in a dorm or something like that.

I've thought about it. $700 for a monitor like that isn't bad. However I think the AOC 34" 21:9 should be around the same price, which to me is even more enticing.

I'm actually surprised there isn't that much talk about this monitor. Anyway, I'm thinking of getting one of these for my main rig. My question is, where do VA panels stand between IPS and TN? Is the PQ worse than IPS? Also, what are people's opinions on having a monitor that's over 27" for pc gaming?

Thanks

VA is pretty much a "poor persons IPS". It has the advantages of good viewing angles and high quality colours, much better then TN, but it's not as good as IPS, but it's also a fair bit less expensive.

I beg to differ... It's not a poor persons IPS because it's better than IPS with static Contrast and black and whites which is much more important than a something a little off colour. in some work spaces.

can't go wrong with that monitor... the Panel is beautiful!!! like really nice looking. Blacks and contrast are soo better than IPS.
