Weird Online Ad issue

This is gonna be a weird one and I have no idea where I should post it.

 

I have an issue with the ads on the site of the Youtube website. I keep getting this extremely annoying ad for a dating website where I can meet cute Chinese girls....  :huh: I know what you are thinking, think what you want I have nothing to hide.  I have tried reporting it as spam, offensive, irrelevant or marked it as covering up the site but for about 40% of the youtube videos I watch it's there no matter what I do.

 

I have tried clearing my browser history, cookies, using Ccleaner, it won't go away.

 

It's been like that for a couple of days and it only appears on youtube. I haven't done anything crooked with my pc so I honestly have no idea why it's there. I use Opera as my main browser, I short test revealed it is there on Chrome as well.

 

My question is A) how does these ads work and B ) how in the hell can I make it disappear for good? I'm really not interested in hooking up with a cute Chinese girl right now, no matter how tempting.

Adblock premaant  and google follows what sites you been too and provides ads accordingly

Yeah that's what I figured, though I haven't been to a site that would make such an ad relevant for me. That's why I'm confused and annoyed. I will play around with the settings in the link.

 

I have just installed an adblock though I normally don't like using them as I like to support the sites I visit.

It sounds like adware. Have you downloaded anything in the past few weeks? I got a similar thing from downloading drivers for something.
