Currently my case is a Fractal Design R4 I'll provide a picture of my setup. Currently I have 2 Corsair AF140's as intakes at the front, I have 1 Rear Exhaust, and you can't see my side panel but I have the non window model which has a side fan mount that I keep covered with the sound padding. I'd just like suggestions and perhaps feedback in how I can improve my current air flow situation. It gets pretty hot in my room and the R4 already isn't a Air Flow optimized case. If I change out my fans I'd like to stick to Noctua personally I use 2 NF-12's on a H105 cooler and I like the design and dare say the color to maybe I'm weird :P I just don't feel like I'm getting enough air with my AF140's and the mix of the AF140 and my noctua fans at least from the rear to the radiator fans bugs me a little bit.

My idea was maybe going with 1x Noctua NF-A14 PWM Fan for my rear exhaust. And maybe 2x NF-A14 FLX which uses 3 pin connections which goes perfect with my R4 which I have my 2 front fans connected to the case fan controller and have them set to 12 volt because the sound is so minimal.

CPU 4790k  4.6 GHZ @ 1.24v

Idle 34-36 Average 40's Max load: normally within the low 60's in BF4.

Put an intake on the side panel..?

I could I suppose. I wanted to preserve the silence a bit. I put on the Fractal 140mm fan that I have as an additional fan and the ramp up just bugged I had to change the RPM within my bios down to a reasonable level. I could get another AF140 I suppose and turn the RPM down to around 1000.

Or give in and enjoy a little noise..

You are a funny man. I don't know maybe I'll leave it alone I just wanted feedback really with the AF140 fans because they have been quiet and they have pushed some air but they aren't quite like my NF-F12's in terms of awesomeness.

Better cable management? CPU is ok, I'm more interested about how GPU is doing. The lower intake should provide its air and to me it seems like jungle of cables is in the way. Pic is kinda dark... have you removed HDD cages?

Well the cable are about as tight as I'm able to get them. And I don't have may cables. Honestly the biggest excess of cable that I have is the 4 pin molex which I need for my ASUS Essence STX. My cables are just tripping over each other a little bit at the bottom but they are tied up pretty tight along the back of the case. I have removed the drive cages to improve air flow. I have a hard drive in the 5.25 drive bay that is my storage drive along side my ASUS blu ray writer. And on the back off my case I have a Samsung 830 mounted. My GPU is hanging out mighty cool at idle mid 30's C and at load low 50's so pretty good I would say :)

Yup, thats all good. So you have modular PSU and you have 1 cable just to power 1 molex device? If you have extra sata power connectors, you could try using sata-molex adapter and get rid off that extra cable.

Only problem with that is I use individually sleeved cables and I like it like that. If I were to use a sata to 4 pin molex I would more then likely not be able to use a sleeved extension without spending some money. I don't think my management at this point is really hindering me air flow wise  My temps are pretty good its just my low idle temps which I guess I really shouldn't be terribly concerned with its more about my load temps which never really go much past 60-65 C at the most. I just see people talking about 28-32 C with there idle temps with the 4790k and I've never seen anything below 30 could just be my luck but thought I'd give it a try to see if I could increase my airflow with different fans or the side fan (which makes me cringe a little because I'd lose some of that silence I have).
