I wouldn't say bottleneck.... It is better to get a nice Gpu and lower end Cpu for gaming and then you can upgrade the Cpu later :)

Its all looks these days

Well people say my 6300 bottlenecks my 280x, so i'm assuming this system would bottleneck too.

Not really, and if it does not by much, dont forget the pentium matches the i5 and i7 in programs that only use 2 cores

This ^ is a WAY better build.

Thoughts? Any adjustments you'd make?

For the price of that 770 you can almost get an R9 290. Get a 280x, which is faster than the 770 and cheaper. Everything else looks solid, don't expect to do any heavy task other than gaming on the pentium though.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

how the hell would a 6300 bottleneck a 280x lol! Who are you taking advice from??? a 6300 is an underclocked 8320..... and an 8320 does not bottle neck a 280x..... So if you OC a 6300 it will not bottleneck a 280x...... take it from a pro

290....

Whats wrong with a 290?

Just saying "290" is not really an answer to a question

What? A 6300 is not an "underclocked" 8320, it is physically a different chip. They MIGHT be 8320s that did not make the binning process so they disable 2 cores to make them a 6 core, but they are not the same chip with a different clock...."pro"

Disregard luke bossly's comments, the build posted couple of posts above is good.

Please leave. A 6300 is a hexacore, an 8320 is an octacore CPU, both run at the same clock speeds. That last part makes this particularly ironic.

Is this where you retards come chill lol! Do the research bros.... maybe 1 day, just maybe

I think you need to the research...

A 6 core is not a down-clocked 8 core, it is a physically different chip. They actually run at the same clock speed 3.5ghz and turbo to around 4.0/4.1ghz respectively, so how is it downclocked?

What is the objective of this build? Do you wanna get the best price to performance ratio? Do you wanna experiment with the Pentium? Or is this just a general use and gaming sort of build? I agree with the others that if your spending that kind of money on a build you should not be using a Pentium unless your are sure that it is the perfect cpu for what you are doing.

A wild revision has appeared!

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qL6sVn

I meant to say... I'm pretty much only going to use it for LotRO, WoW, YouTube etc. so the processor is fine and I've used this new GPU before and it's supprisingly good (runs both MMO's in ultra and always above 60FPS).

MMO's can run on medium with the iGPU x) But yeah if you like the processor and gpu combo the other parts are good.
