@AfroLedgend 1600Mhz kits certainly exist as I have one in front of me. Not sure how high it goes though

Yeah I've seen some Vengeance and Hyper X modules in 1600MHz. I was looking for higher speeds because my current laptop has an AMD A10 5757m APU but my memory is only running at 800MHz so I'm hoping to get better performance in games if there are modules higher than 1600MHz.

Does high speed, 1600MHz+, SODIMM memory exist?

Just bought, this: http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-PC3-12800-204-Pin-Notebook-CT2CP51264BF160B/dp/B005LDLVAO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1407508604&sr=8-4&keywords=crucial+2+x+4GB+sodimm  from Amazon two days ago for an Asus K53E laptop. Works great! You don't to spend more than this.

Note: I did buy it directly from Amazon when they still had it in stock and not from the 3rd party seller under review at the moment.

It's running at 1600 MHz... not 800 :P

I've only ever seen it maxed at 800 even during gaming, When I open AMD OverDrive and under the GPU status section it says memory 800MHz.
