I'm new at this and need and need some help

I need help picking out the best hardware components and case for a new PC that can run adobe programs well as well as be able to play relatively new games in 1080p that I can build on in the future without exceeding my budget of about £500 or $842.84. I don't mind paying about £150 extra if it’s not possible to do so the £500 and if it is not at all possible to get the quality that I need from a PC with that budget I would like to know. As I mentioned earlier this budget is for the hardware components and case for a new PC I already have the software I need covered.

To give more of a perspective on my situation (so hopefully this can help you help me) I am a console user of the last gen of consoles and have now decided to get a gaming PC as I can play the same game on console but in better quality on PC and I can play my old PS2 and other old platform games using emulators. I tried this on my laptop which is a pretty decent one for browsing the web and playing some games if I close most everything else down but starts to lag behind when I used adobe programs which I use often and I will start to use more heavily when I start back at college soon certain games lag too.

So I’ve decided to but a PC but all the bundles have windows and software that I already have spare copies of  which Rising the price of the bundle and wastes the spare copies of software I have lying around plus the one I was looking at were £700. I decided that I could do better with the price plus I want to put a PC to getter anyway.

I started by searching good looking for medium sized cases ones that could fit an ATX sized motherboard and found five cases that I liked  and listed them (like a noob), but then realized that I should first pick the hardware I want first and then find a case that can hold all the hardware I have. This is where I ran in to a problem as I did not realize that not all motherboards are where compatible with all CPU’s and had thought that an intel motherboard (MSI B85-G43) would work with a AMD CPU (AMD Athlon X4 760K).

So I googled what is the difference between Intel and AMD and AMD and NVIDIA and what I took from it was is that that I have to find and choose the hardware with the right features to get want I want out on the built PC but the product names mean nothing to my at the moment as I jets started looking for a new computer less than a week ago and it will be a while before I completely know what I need to do and look out for.

This is as far as i got

Firstly, congratulations on planning to make your first build and I hope in the end it meets your satisfaction! :) Let me just start by saying with the cases, definitely check out the Enthoo Pro as it is an amazing case and is only ~£65 and it is great for cooling, space and looks amazing. Thirdly, what GPU are you planning on running? (TL;DR) I suggest that you also look into getting an Intel CPU as they are the more dominant company in that area and if you want to swap over to NVIDIA later one it will cause some issues having an AMD CPU. Anyway, best of luck!

(Ps. That board and CPU aren't compatible.)

Yeh lol, though it's a self proclaimed title. I get distracted easily, procrastinate a huge but ton and I'm quite disorganised, not a good combo.

Misread the budget, crap lol. Thought you said 500 Euros or 842 Euros, *facepalm*

I'll be back.

Edit:

I'm back and I brought with me a really decent PC.

So it's got the G3258 which is overclockable on the B85, B87 and H97 motherboards from Asus and MSI with a BIOS update. So that leads into the H80i which means youc an have glorious overclocking and have a beast of a CPU. The Kingston Fury lineup is really decent as they look good, have decent specs, but most importantly are priced just right. I out the 1TB Barracuda in there as it's apart of a renowned HDD range from Seagate and the price is almost unbeatable. Then we move onto the GPU, the 280X is a really well priced GPU, and the Twin Frozr cooler on it makes it a really nice piece in the system. Then you can put all of that plus the CS750M, an 80+ Gold certified power supply from Corsair that is completely modular and has a great price, in an Enthoo Pro from Phanteks. I hope you enjoy this, and soz for the 10 Euro over the already extra 150 Euros.

These builds try to stick somewhere near the £500 budget. You could change the 270x to a 280x and you could pick a case of your choice if you're really willing to spend the extra money.

EDIT:
If you need the wireless adapter then get it on Amazon, it's like £25. For some reason PCPP doesn't have Amazon's price listed.
