so i saw linus's latest video where his PC is thermal throttling i am wondering if my pc is the same. does the MSI afterburner program, i saw him using only for msi cards or can i use it on my amd radeon windforce 7950 to check if my pc is getting hot or are there better programs out there for this?

You can use it with any gpu company. So yes it will work with your 7950.

You can use MSI Afterburner on any graphics card and monitor it. MSI afterburner is one of the best I wouldn't look at any other program except maybe HWMonitor

MSI Afterburner works for basically any and all graphics cards, and yes, it is one of the best programs out there. Linus approved.

Just stick with MSI afterburner. It can monitor temps, set a custom fan curve, overclock your GPU, show you the FPS and GPU usage and whatnot as an on-screen display while you're gaming, etc.

Get msi ab/rivertuner also get hwinfo64 if you wanna have a great OSD (on-screen -display)
