Best Phone

JLCitadel

My girl's picking a new phone, here's what shes looking for:

Durable

Long Battery

Quality Camera

High Color Accuracy

Whatever phone fits these specs the most, vote for.

The options are limited to phones available from T-Mobile.

If you have another suggestion you can list it as well.

As for the OS it's a non issue.

OS is literally the biggest issue you will ever run into on any device. It's probably the #1 thing you should consider when purchasing a phone.

*EDIT* immidiately you can eliminate the G flex, a 720p screen @ 6 inches. Yikes.

I actually recommend the iPhone 5 or 5s, it's a very good device, rear camera is good and the front facing camera especially is very good compared to the competition, coupled with a good display.

Runner up is HTC One M8, but don't discount the M7.

Isn't the Xperia camera better?

Sony Xperia Z2 isn't sold by T-Mobile or At&t which are her options.

If you can get your heads on it, the Oneplus one. Otherwise, I would personally go with the LG G3. If your going to pay the flagship price, why not get that nice screen.

The Sony z1compact can be a good purchase, nice display small, good camera, and they say it's a good performer on the battery part as well. Its almost as small as an iPhone 5. Although in not sure I'd you can get your hands in it on T-Mobile you need to check that yourself.

Easy choice is the iPhone, you get both benchmark topping numbers and strong real world performance, a perfectly balanced camera (good low light and good resolution), insanely good battery life for such a low capacity, screens are all individually calibrated by apple to deliver consistent and accurate colors.

OnePlus One, has the best battery performance and also the cheapest of all the ones listed. It's also more durable than most flagships but you will need a case regardless of the phone if you're looking for good durability. Chances are though if the Note 3 is too big, any 5.5 inch screen would also be too big. If that's the case then the Nexus 5, iPhone 5 or Xperia Z1S would be ideal in your list. If your girlfriend isn't all that tech savvy then an iPhone's ecosystem might be the best choice as it's more tuned towards the casual person :P

Toooo big, if the Note 3 is too big.

When the screen has that low resolution...it's not hard to power ;)

Very well put.

I'll add that you should avoid the Sony phones before the Z2. Most of them had god awful screens, so if you're really looking for high color accuracy....steer clear.

As much as I hate Apple, I'll have to say it's probably the best choice of the ones listed. Especially if she has small hands. The M8 is quite a large device. T

The G3 is pretty decent, and gets my second vote since it's smaller than the M8.

I have the Nexus 5 and love it, but it has the worst camera of the ones you listed. If she takes a lot of pictures the Apple or LG would be better. Then the M8.

People really need to stop suggesting people the OnePlus One unless

a. it becomes publicly available or

b. you can give the person looking for a phone an invite
