Hey guys

I have the current setup (its a secondary rig that needs upgrading):

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz

RAM: 4gb

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260

Mobo: Gigabyte G4IMT-D3

What I was thinking a possible upgrade could be
CPU: Intel Pentium G3220

RAM: 8gb

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX660 3GB OC

Mobo: MSI Intel H81M-P33 H81 Chipset

(PSU is a Corsair CX-500)

Advice needed please :D

It seems to be a lot of money for not a lot of progress. If it was me, I'd just put in a new GPU and call it a day.

Upgrade your ram to 8gbs, upgrade gpu to gtx 750 and get a ssd.  Get a cpu later.

I don't know about that C2D it is a bit long in the tooth.

ssd and a better gpu little more ram...I still run a c2d E7400 with a GTX 650, and an ssd, it runs about everything okay enough for me. Only have had one issue with one game is that I can not get more than 2fps that is everquest next landmark..I myself am happy with 30fps so it depends on what you want to do with that pc and budget
