So I'm looking for a new mechanical keyboard. But not really sure what to get. I would like a somewhat quiet switch that maintains the "bump" when you click it down so that you can actually feel response. I guess that would be equal to the brown switch? A friend of mine has a Razer Blackwidow ultimate which I really hate due to it's awful loud switches.

I'm considering getting the CM Storm Quickfire TK with Brown switches. - I'm mostly playing FPS and mobas like HoN.. So not really needing macros.

I think the logitech G710 might be what you're looking for. It has the brown switches with the tactile bump, but in addition it also has rubber o-rings around the stems of the keycaps so there's no noise when you bottom them out either. I find the blue switches on my K70 aren't that bad. The sound when bottoming out is much more objectionable than the actual click itself.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Watch out though with the CM's, the hooks that hold the stabilizer in place under the spacebar etc. tend to break rather easily.

Mine broke and I had to fix it with superglue and that was really tough to do, since it's all so fiddly and small.

Just be careful with it and you will love it. I have the cm storm quickfire ultimate with mx blues.

Both browns and blues are very nice switches.

The blues are a bit on the loud side, but not as loud as everyone says, the clicky + tactile feel definetly makes up for it, imo.

The browns are also tactile but non-clicky.

All in all cm storm mech. keyboards are very nice for the money. If you can afford a bit more, i would get the k70 though.

Yeah I did acutally consider the G710 but I felt that the dampening was too much.. I nearly couldn't feel the tactile bump..

The CM Storm Quickfire TK is $130 here in Denmark.. So around that. Maybe I'm stretching it to get the k70 cause it has volume buttons.. mute etc.
