Is a 250 watt power supply enough for a 153watt estimated build?

So what did you have in mind exactly?

Well since I'm stuck with fm2+ for now I'm going with an Athlon 760k and an R7 260x or 750 TI. I'm having trouble deciding since the 260x has Mantle but the 750 is more power efficient

Well if you can't get a better PSU then the safest option is the 750Ti

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

I'm getting a 450 watt instead of a 300

A Corsair CS Series 450w

Get the Corsair CX 430w or 500w - The CX series is better and cheaper. WIth the 430w you'd be able to handle an R9 270x no problem, even a 280x with no OC but this would cut it close and I wouldn't recommend cutting close in power.

Okay, thanks once again!
