My system is:

AMD FX 8320 at 4.2 Ghz

Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 Overclocked

8 GB RAM

Corsair VS 650

1 TB HDD

ASRock Fatality 990FX Killer Motherboard

Temps are like 60c max on CPU while P95 blend. Only on kombustor it reaches 64c. GPU max set to 85c but runs at 81c max. While playing BF3 CPU temps max at 58c and gpu at 72c. Around 70 and above fps in game on ultra at 1080P. But the problem is it crashed two times but that doesn't matter. What matters is in some parts or missions fps drops to below 25 fps for a second. That's really annoying. I have tried defragging HDD, cleaning registry.etc What else can I do ? Thanks.

What kind of effects are going on when you have a drop? It might just be a more intensive bit of the game.

Mostly after a short video sequence like in some missions jumping into a building or like when an enemy comes to stab and close kill.etc but it also occurs when I suddenly turn around using my mouse. But it occurs may be for microseconds but it annoys me. Thanks.

Turn down the effects quality.

Why ? My system is powerful enough and it even runs BF4 on ultra. This game mostly run like 90 fps. These lags occur for just microseconds but it affects gameplay a lot.

Run your GPU on factory settings and see if it makes any difference OR turn OFF AA and see!

Turning off aa will increase fps. I know but these lags are caused by something else. A lot of people experience this. But why ?

You can also adjust the settings in Nvidia Control Panel for better performance.

That increases all time fps but not these kind of stupid lags.

seems like vram issue

What kind of issue ? OC related ? Hardware failure ? Max VRAM usage is 1.3 GB in this game.

my friend also had similiar problem with AC where fps suddenly drops and his experience it was vram that was not enough. It might be vram usage spikes during gaming session, try monitor it closely.
