So i've started playing around with a bit of overclocking, nothing fancy but things are getting hotter in there :P

I bought a set of Noctua fans and now want help to get my airloop as good as it can be under the circumstances.

So i have a Fractal Core 3000, fan mountings are represented by red squares. Cables are mostly out of the way but obviously my varous components take up some space.

My plan was to have the two frontal, the bottom and the side ones as intakes and the two top ones as exhaust.

Not sure if i want the CPU (water)cooler to inhale cool air, improving perforamce but increasing the temperature in the case or if i want it to exhaust instead. What do you think?

Any input or ideas are appreciated.

I recommend using side panel as intake. Setting your liquid cooler up so that cool air is blown through the radiator from the outside into the case and have 2 fans front for intake and 2 fans top for exhaust.

Agreed. Just not good if PC is placed on the desk, it will be loud because of the side panel fan..

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

he needs to get 7 120/140mm Delta 5000rpm fans and some noise cancelling headphones

Its funny how people think that just because case has options for many fans, they all are needed. Usually you just need 2-3 intakes and 2 exhausts. More fans make more noise but also lower speeds that components coolers have to run. So my suggestions would be 2 front, push-pull for rad and one extra intake either side or top.
