Google products throwing random "Unable to access network" errors. Why?

Oddly, this seems to happen only in Chrome, not FF, and I never use IE. Well this last week, Chrome and Google were acting like a bitch. Whenever I try to load something or search something on Google, it says every damn time, "Waiting for available socket" and eventually gives me "Unable to access network." What the fuck?? I tried everything. I let it through my firewall and antivirus, I flushed the socket cache, even deleted my browser cache. But it still doesn't work. With Gmail, it does the same, but when it does load, I can't fucking sign in. This is so pissing me off.

Boot to Safe Mode with Networking, and see if it occurs there. If there are no problems there, try a Clean Start and see if you have a conflict.

If that doesn't help, try clearing your DNS and resetting the winsock by following these steps:

  1. Start> In search box type cmd> Right click on cmd.exe in results above and choose Run as administrator
  2. Type in the following, followed by enter for each
  3. ipconfig /flushdns
  4. Enter
  5. ipconfig /release
  6. Enter
  7. ipconfig /renew
  8. Enter
  9. netsh winsock reset
  10. Enter
  11. Restart PC

Let me know if that was helpful
