Alright so today I went to my local computer hardware store. Honestly, I thought since it was a while before I went there, that they would have outdated and dust gathering pieces of crap (1st gen intel i3 cpu's, zotac gpu's etc...) but boy was I wrong. Shelves upon shelves of brand new z97 motherboards and graphics cards of all makes.

I picked out some parts and I know it doesn't have some essentials like an ssd but I plan on adding that later. Just wanted to show you guys what I got and wanted to know if you like it or not :) ( I know this is a really basic, cheap build but I wanted to go this route since it's my first pc) I'll be posting a build log tomorrow to show you what it looks like :D

A 4690K and a 750Ti?

That's an unbalanced build m8, I must say.

This. A 4690k should be accompanied by at least a GTX 770 or R9 290.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

You can get Windows from somewhere like G2A for much cheaper.
