The only electric based cars I will buy will be the BMW i3/8 and the vauxhall/Opel ampera/Chevrolet volt, as they are range extender cars that have a petrol or diesel motor running at a consistent rpm to maintain the battery charge and supply supplementary power when necessary. A bit like a more refined hammerhead i eagle thrust
