So guys I was wondering if I dismantled my xbox one would I be able to swap the fan on it for a noctua one in the hope it will run cooler and quieter I'm pointing out that I'm not going to do this I was just curious but maybe I will if it's possible cheers

As long as the connection is the same it should work..

 

Edit: NOPE not possible the connection is different, it's like one of those click-in connectors you get on GPU's, I don't know the name.

 

Having to swap a connector isn't exactly the end of the world, it will however void your warranty and most likely have little to no effect.

Here's an adapter http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1945.html No need to cut some cables. Problem would be how to clip the fan onto the blower as there are no holders for the fanclamps.

Opening up the XBOX will still void the warranty, and swapping a fan is not gonna do any considerable difference. Noctua fans are good, but they're not made of magic.
