I'll be keen to actually be able to have Thunderbolt on a workstation, where it belongs. But since I've just invested thousands of dollars in X79, I won't be switching for years.

Not only am i looking forward to DDR4, but more so for SATAe and M.2 support.  Plus the soldiered TIM for better cooling potential.  Not so interested in 8 core, will prob go 6 core.  Im just hoping Asus will release a new rampage soon.
