Slight OS problem/confusion

Hey all, I remember purchasing windows 8 back when it released for rather cheap. I've never used it, but I don't know if the disc I have here is the correct one to install windows 8 from. (There is no product key, from what I can see.)

Basically I want to know is this what I'm supposed to install the OS on a new system from? It has the 32bit and 64bit CD's in there

(Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm just curious as to if I need to spend money on a new OS.)

What happened to the license key? If you don't have a license key you won't be able to activate Windows. The install discs themselves aren't really worth anything, you can create them or a bootable USB to install for free.

Just go through your emails and there should be an email containing your product key.

yes, install the OS from the CD, but you will need a license key (most likely emailed to you) to activate windows
