unusual problem with motherboard.

I have an Asus sabertooth z87,inteli5 4670k, corsair rm650, corsair force lx, corsair vengeance 2x4gb,when I turn it on all the led's flash red once like they should but the VGA led stays on. I'm running integrated graphics on the Intel chip for now. But I don't boot up. The only thing that could be wrong that I have thought of is the ram since I did paint the heat spreader. I turned the computer on the next day and the VGA led turned off but the boot device led turned on. Reset the computer and VGA led was on and boot device was off. I have no clue what's wrong

Do you mean the motherboard lights up red on the board then could be your psu.

Double check that it is the VGA light. I know my ROG board its skewed. and what looks like my VGA is infact HDD.

Did you fix the issue? I just got the same mobo and 2x4gb vengeances. I'm having the same problem. My pc will only post with ram in a2 b2. Im not able to dual channel any of them. I borrowed my friends ram and was able to put them in dual channels. I returned my ram for some new ones but got the same problem still
