Hey all:)

I have a problem when i run Kombustor to stress my GPU 100% and then start Prime95, my GPU load % is jumping between about 20% to 60% and not stabil at 100%.

When i only run Kombustor the GPU is stabil at 100%. It is only the gpu that dont get to 100% the CPU is at 100% load.

Does anyone have any suggestions? it can be the power supply?

Kombustor actually uses a fair amount of your CPU. I just tried running it on my GT640, and it was consuming roughly 94% of my Athlon X2 7750 in task manager.

Running Prime95 and stressing your CPU to 100% is going to starve Kombustor of the CPU cycles that it apparently needs, which means that Kombustor won't be able to give your GPU instructions fast enough to pin it to 100%.

I don't see much of a point in stressing both at once unless you're checking for worst-case heat generation or power consumption, though. Run Prime to test your CPU overclock, then, when you've

found a stable CPU overclock, start messing with your GPU.

I would also reccomend OCCT for GPU stress testing; it acts almost like a Prime95 for GPUs. It stresses your GPU and counts any errors your GPU makes, just like Prime.

You been Pork'd.
