I'm think about buying another samsung 840 120gb and putting them in raid 0 because it can increase speeds. How would i go about doing this and whats the advantage/disadvantage of doing this? How likely is the ssd to die/fail becuase of raid 0? Thanks :3

 if you look in the specs at SATA RAID, it says what it can do, only if you have (since it doesnt say officially) more than 2 per raid array do you need a raid card

In recap because re reading that made no sense;

You can have 2 arrays of 2 drives

anything more like a 3rd array of two drives, you would need a card

(these are very low ball figures as i dont really have much faith that this board will support much more) so with 2 3tb drives in raid 0 you will be fine :)

ya it is but you need a minimum of 2 drives for raid so if it supports any raid its always 2 or more
