That's what a currently have as a template that I want.

So price point is around 3000 canadian, a few hundred either way. Mostly for high end gaming, video rendering.

So I need advice on, is there a better build for price to fps? Or any components that work better together?

Thanks guys!

It looks good, but I would recommended getting a Z97 board.

Do you have an old rig that's decent at both?

That's not the point of this.

Um... isn't 3K $ a bit too much for 1150? I'm just saying...

Change the Mobo to a Z97 Mobo

Depend on what kind of resolution/rendering stuff you are working on, a pair of 6GB GTX 780 might be better for you than 2 3GB 780TI like that.

PSU is way too overkill, judging by the fact that you want an AIO for the CPU, it mean that you dont run a custom water cooler loop, so for you system a 800-850W PSU is already more than enough even for overclocking.

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log

Ya another guy said z97 too so i'll porbably go for that.

I'm going for more gaming then rendering, will be at 1080p, maybe on 3 screens in the future.

I like psu's to be overkill, had too many problems in the past.

Well it's related in a way, if you have something pretty respectable right now, you could wait until Broadwell is released before investing so much money into a build. Entirely up to you of course, depends if you want to wait or not.

For 3 screens like that, more VRAM will benefit you more, so I'd still suggest getting 2 6GB GTX 780, either the one from EVGA or MSI depend on your color scheme: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n780tf6gd5oc  or http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp43787kr

It's still way too overkill though, First of all the UD5H, even the Z97 one, dont support up to 3 ways SLI, and even if you do get 3 ways SLI with another Mobo, the PSU still only need up to 1000-1100W, 1300W is usually for workstation with 2 CPUs +3-4 GPUs, not for a normal build.

Shrake907 do have a point there, the new 800 series GPU is said to comeout soon, as well as Broadwell. So if you current rig still able to do most of your stuff then it's better to wait 1-2 months.

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log

Alright, ya the 780's will still be good.

I've had alot of psu's burn out so as long as i have extra it should be good.

Ya i'm gonna be waiting a few months, i'm just planning what parts to get right now.

I  was unsure if you had enough for the build or not. i recommend those fans though. (120s for the rad, and 140s for the case if possible)

I don't think the case has room for that many either. Research how many mounting points there are, and change the part list accordingly.

Of course, but you don't need 11 extra fans. You might need 2 for the Cooler, and then maybe 2/3 for the case.

I don't know the exact amount it can hold, as it has internal fan mounts as well i think. Still massive overkill though  :)

The 900D is a waste with an AIO cooler.

If you use 'BBCode' format it makes the text appear nicer  :)
