Hey guys, is anyone looking forward to this game?

I'm not sure what platform to get it on console, or PC, I find it a steep learning curve to use a keyboard in racing games, so I tend to use a controller.

The release price looks really attractive on steam at the moment!

Not the biggest fan of racing games.

And why not get it on PC? It will look better, sound better, play smoother AND you have the option to use any controller you wish.

My recommendation? GET IT ON PC :D

Oh and you will be able to(hopefully) run it in multiple monitor setup(EyeFinity/Nvidia Surround), I know the older Grid games allowed you to do that hopefully this one will too.

They removed cockpit view so no. For me racing games are all about the cockpit view where you come close to the an actual racing experience.

I'm playing through the original GRID right now, and it's pretty awesome.  I'll look at GRID 2 when it goes down in price.

 

Sucks that there's no cockpit view, but I only use my racing wheel on about half the racing games I play anyway.

 

And GET IT FOR PC.  The graphics quality will be leagues better (most console games are 30fps these days) and you can just buy a wired Xbox 360 controller or a wireless receiver; it works wonderfully.

I played through GRID many many times. I will certainly play this game... on PC of course.. there is no other way IMHO.

I just got GRID on sale and really enjoyed it. Sad I missed out on the online play since the PC Servers are shut down. I may get GRID 2 if it goes on sale during the next Steam Sale.

Looking forward to it going on sale on Steam. Was going to pre-purchase to get the DLC but decided against it because most of the stuff in-game is still pretty awesome. It looks amazing on PC and i'm sure with a few tweaks with the settings, should be able to get 125fps+

Normally I'd agree, but in this case the issue doesn't seem to be related to the game actually being broken or just really badly done. The game looks great and can still be fun to play regardless of this missing feature. Sure I think they should have kept it in, but it not being there shouldn't prevent you from buying a game you might enjoy.
