id have (if possible) your gaming PC on the first switch, to minimise latency, but then again if youre not playing competitively, youll be fine even on the second swirch

Won't work, really far away so I don't want to run 2 cables through the house. And I'm pretty bad at games, just look up spwath's k/d ratio in bf4

There shouldn't be any issue. Switches barely have any brains at all, they just take an incoming connection and split it.
