What exactly is the point of CureCoin?

 

BTC/LTC i can understand, but their blockchains are HUGE! Wouldn't something like this just add extra length to the blockchain?

It's a cryptocurrency that you get from mining or folding@home. I fold anyway so might as well get some money off it, right? I convert the Curecoins to BTC using Poloniex - Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency Exchange - CURE/BTC Market and with that you can get a bunch of humble bundle games (because they accept bitcoins as a form of payment)
