SPACE ENGINEERS 15 FPS?

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

Yeah, kinda doesn't make sense..... ;-)

Still I am so confused. How can a game run THAT SLOW!?!?!?!? And I mean my buddy still has that much weaker syster with an old 4 core AMD at 3.2Ghz and an R9 270. His GPU seems to get the job done.....why?  I mean my GPU is MUCH MORE POWERFUL!

And GPU load is not really connected to server duties. CPU load should be and that is absolutely fine.

Probably because they have not release drivers that support your graphics card properly yet

drivers are very important and without proper support it will run like shizzle

GPU load is not connected so server duties? huh, no of course not, but if your GPU is running at 100% then you cannot really do much, the game obviously can not utilize your GPU effectively so your gpu is running at max when it really shouldnt be

So when I start a new server my FPS go crazy over 500fps. Perfectly fine.

I started to build a Death Star with my buddy though and now it drops down to 15fps or even lower. My system specs are in my signature. The problem I have here is that my GPU is running at 100% but it could do more I suppose, because temps are fine and don't go over 72°C which is still 8°C less than in high-end games......VRAM usage is not even at 1GB of my 4GB.

My CPU is never above 60% load on all cores.....

RAM usage is a little bit above 50% and page file is also a little bit above 50%.

I am running the server though and my buddy has still a good gaming experience on his much weaker system being the client.

I turned down graphics options to normal, it doesn't go any lower, and game at 1080p. I also turned down the object count in the server options as low as possible, I think that was 16....

Is it just that badly optimized or is my PC too weak? Or something else that I missed?

How can it do more if it is running at 100%? that means it is doing all it can

That said the game does not run well for most people, it is very badly optimised (is it not in early access?)

Fo shizzle! ;-)

Yeah, well you're right. What can I say.

Although this didn't help at all(which is not your fault):

THANK YOU! :)
