750W for a 280x? Sapphire best be joking. A 550W is enough as max draw of a 280X is about 400W.

depends on your setup. List specs? 

You could probably get away with 550 or 600 watts easy.

They list on the high end to be safe. 

Even to be safe 750 is some serious overkill. If you want to be safe and still not be extreme then 600-650 should be the thing to suggest.

In what world can a 280x draw 400W? I hope you mean the entire system!

I had a very poor choice of words indeed :D. I meant that WITH a 280x max power draw would be around 400W.
