Do You Agree With

"Drones can give us new perspectives"  "Drones can help us see the world"  "Drones can help get us stuff faster"  "Drones can save the planet"  "Drones can save lives"

I Found this to be a really interesting Topic.

inb4 drones take over the world

Drones are cool but their mass appeal is still sketchy in terms of if they REALLY benefit things, sure they have some amazing uses but flying a go pro over a city is hardly beneficial to mankind.

Also I worry about people vandalizing/stealing drones if they became more popular, or even them crashing and damaging cars/property etc

Yeah there would be many cases of people stealing them, if they do ever make it a thing

A future with no bartenders? Hell no that's not a time I want to live in. Drones are incredibly useful for search and rescue missions though, and I most definitely wouldn't mind if Amazon got the green light to deliver products using drones.

Drones are merely a tool, just like everything else in the world.

And just like everything else in the world, its impact is at the hands of the user. Drones aren't inherently useful for evil purposes.

Facebook's plan to use drones for global Wifi is actually quite promising. The other alternative being micro-satellites.
