Now, I've overclocked my i5 4670k to 4.2GHZ and 1.2Voltz and I've got enough courage now where I want to lower the voltage slowly to get lower temperatures.

With the only problem being, I've got dyslexia and horrible at maths and I cant figure out what voltage is what, this question is probably super dumb but what voltages are what?  I learned from a video 1.2voltz is 1.200 but what is 1.09voltz?

Also, what kind of voltage differences should I go down in?  Should I go down by 0.25 voltz each time and run a stress test each time with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility?

I'm really sorry and am quite embarrassed asking these questions as I feel like a noob, but I've got dyslexia and just cant figure it out.

I would appreciate any help you can provide and thanks everyone :)

I would do this: 1.200>1.190>1.180>1.170 and then run a stress test (I used prime95 small fft) after each drop for at least an hour.

But you probably won't get much lower than 1.200. I myself am sitting at 4.3 and 1.200.

@LoGiCalDrm @djdwosk97

Managed to boot up in 1.190v will try 1.185v and then 1.180v and then 1.175v  I'll see if I get stable at any of them, I'll run a full on stress test about about 1.18v if I get there.

I've suddenly found excitement in overclocking! :D

Reached 1.185 booted up, ill try 1.18.  if I get to 1.18v or lower at 4.2GHZ?  Do I have a good chip?

Booted up perfectly fine and seems stable at 1.17v will of course run a stress test though.

make sure it's stable for at least a few hours. I had mine running stable at 4.4 and 1.25 or something for about 2 hours.
