Are my temps ok

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

thanks whats to hot just so i no

You want to stay below 90C. If you're running them for a long time, I would keep them below 85C.

so i have a MSI 280X and a 7970GHz sapphire vapor X and there both overclocked to 1150MHz core and 1500MHz mem and the temps i was getting playing metro last light in eyefinity were 78C on the top card and and 74C on the bottom card is that ok for 24/7 use not that it will be 24/7.

its 35C in my room

my fan speed was 85% top and 79% on the bottom

That's fine, and your room sounds pretty hot, the average is like 25c, so 78c even at those ambient temps, you're fine.

Even a 7XX series card is fine at 78C, and AMD cards are notorious for being hotter.

yea its a heat wave over here and my pc is a space heater

Blowing air to them? You'd want the AF, not SP. AF fans are designed to move as much air as possible, but SP fans are designed to move air at high pressure, through radiators and such.
