My internet is derping out pretty hard right now so i cant get a link but it looks like the dell venue 11 pro model 7139 should fill those requirements quite nicely

Refurbished MacBook Airs in Australia cost around $900, tbh $600 for a laptop here in Australia isn't much to spend. You just might have to get a second hand laptop or something. Is their any specific reason why you need an SSD?

CPU: 6600K @ 4.6Ghz | COOLER: H100i GTX | MOBO: Asus Z170 AR | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB |

CASE: Corsair 760T | PSU: Corsair RM750x | STORAGE: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB & Seagate 2TB | KEYBOARD: K70 RGB | MOUSE: Deathadder Elite

Honestly i won't stress to much about the SSD, a normal hard drive should work fine and i don't think you will be able to find a laptop with an SSD in your price range. I found this laptop that fits your price range just missing an SSD: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/laptops/dell/dell-inspiron-x510401au-15-6-notebook/546916/

@Matt14520 @Fluxx

Those specs that your school told you are "required" or "suggested"? 8GB of RAM are not needed for schoolwork unless you do design work (do you?) EDIT: Oh wait is is 4, so nvm. An SSD is nice, but by all means not needed especially with Windows 8.1.

The Inspiron that Fluxx mentioned looks good, putting in an SSD wouldn't hurt, but is not really required... I personally am addicted to SSD performance, but that is no reason against traditional drives.
