Google Cardboard not fullscreen

So the cardboard app only runs 1 or 2 things in fullscreen, the rest are like this:

Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?
I'm using a Nexus 4 with CM11

I still like the Google cardboard concept though.

Does MC pocket edition work w/ this?

No idea, doesn't appear to be a free version anymore to try.
