if you are running AMD driver version 14.4

 

no need to re-install

 

the driver will detect your new gpu and you will be rocking with your 290X at 1440P

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

1440p? i wish but thats good that it will detect it 

1440P res is what the 290x is made for

im stuck with a 1080p screen

oh if you have the spare cash time to invest on a higher res monitor

 

but hey 1080P Ultra with AA is no problem for the 290X
